Welcome back volunteers!
For the first time since COVID started, St. Joseph Home is again open to the many people who choose to spend their time helping make possibilities happen here! The number of activities including volunteers has been gradually growing since late spring and really picked up momentum over the summer and at the start of the school year.
There are opportunities for individuals and groups, and for one-time or ongoing activities throughout St. Joseph Home’s programs. Volunteers can help onsite supporting fundraising events, in the office supporting administrative staff, and may choose to work directly with residents and day program participants.
This summer Tim Jordan, a student from Seven Hills School, brought his music to the Adult Day Program in Sharonville. What started as fulfillment of a school obligation led to a voluntary sharing of his gifts because he got such a warm response, and felt so rewarded by his experience.
Thank you to groups from: DePaul Cristo Ray High School, KPMG, Mount St. Joseph University, St. Michael’s Knights of Columbus, the St. Michael’s girls’ basketball team, St. Ursula High School, St. Ursuline High School, St. Xavier High School, University of Cincinnati Medical Physician and Society Service-Learning class, Xavier University.
