Respite Center

Harold C. Schott Respite Center

We know the challenges of caring for someone with a disability at home can be overwhelming. Juggling the responsibilities of care with earning an income, maintaining other relationships, and caring for the rest of the family, too. We’re here to help.

The Harold C. Schott Respite Center provides a much-needed break for families caring for someone with a disability at home. Think of us as a highly-equipped hotel. Our short-term-stay model allows families to travel for work or vacation, run typical errands, reconnect and rest while we take care of supporting their loved one. Nurses and DSPs staff the designated Respite Center 24/7.

Guests can stay with us from 2 days to 2 weeks

Guests can stay with us from 2 days to 2 weeks. We make every effort to maintain the schedule they’re used to having at home and provide extended opportunities to engage with a new community.
