Residential Cottages

Our residential cottages are a long-term living facility for children and adults with complex disabilities. Each of our six cottages has a living room, dining area, kitchen and nursing station and is staffed with Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and nurses. A cottage accommodates 8 residents of similar ages in four shared bedrooms.

We aim to provide residents at St. Joseph Home with the best quality of life possible. All residents receive hands-on physical, occupational and speech therapy to develop and reach new personal goals and skill advancement. Each resident has an individualized care plan created by our collaborative team of doctors, nurses, QIDPs, therapists, and dietician.

Situated on our 33-acre main campus in Sharonville, residents have access to our Green Space nature trail, warm water therapy pool, and family room where families can enjoy time together.

In 2014, the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities certified our residential program as a Ventilator Unit. Two of our cottages now have accommodations for individuals who need ventilator support.
