Gifts of Time
St. Joseph Home welcomes hundreds of volunteers each year. There are various volunteer opportunities available that align with each individual’s gifts, talents, experience, passion, and availability. We want the volunteer experience to be rewarding and enjoyable for you and for our SJH residents, respite guests, and Day Program participants.
We welcome volunteers of all shapes and sizes: individual, corporate, school, religious, and civic groups. Whether it is weekly, once a month or once a year; every volunteer becomes an important part of our community.
We are very excited for our upcoming 2nd Annual Appreciation Event on June 15th, 2017. This gives us the opportunity to recognize those who have made a long-lasting positive impact on our community. We are currently accepting nominations for the following four awards:
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Award: someone who has been transformative to our work at SJH.
St. Joseph Award: someone who reflects the four pillars through their service and leadership.
S. Joan Carole Award: celebrates the accomplishments of a volunteer or volunteer group.
Emerging Leader Award: someone 40 or younger who has made a significant impact in the lives of SJH residents and respite guests.
If you know someone who you would like to see recognized, tell us what makes them stand out by completing the Award Nomination Form!
Please return forms by Tuesday, April 18th to Development Coordinator, Alison Bloomer.
